Worshipful Brother William J. Howe

Worshipful Brother William Howe, Pharmacist and The 65th Worshipful Master of Washington Lodge #17. He was born in Florence, Kentucky on 1868. He was a lifelong druggist at J.W. Howe Drug Company located on High Street in Hamilton, Ohio His father J.W. Howe started the business In the mid 1800s. He continued in that profession until the late 1950s He and his wife resided on Eaton Ave. at the time of his death in 1968 at 100 years old. He served as Master in 1905 he is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio

Situated at 724 High St on the main Hamilton Ohio corridor, The Hamilton Masonic Temple is home to the oldest Masonic lodge in Butler County. Founded in 1811 and fully chartered in 1812, the history of Washington Lodge traces its heritage to the very founding of Hamilton and Butler County.
