Worshipful Brother Seldon Brown

Worshipful Brother Seldon D. Brown, Master Draftsman, Finish Carpenter, Woodworking Master Craftsman & The 177Th Worshipful Master Of Washington Lodge #17. WB Brown was born on March 13, 1963 in Hamilton the son of the Russell Brown and Thelma (nee Estep) Veroline. Seldon graduated from Hamilton High School in 1981 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He worked as a draftsman for General Electric in Evendale, Ohio and late was the proprietor of “The Little Woodshop on Main” A Antique furniture repair shop. His gifted hands shaped and smoothed thousands of pieces that are still in many homes in Hamilton. WB Brown was active in The Shrine Antique Caravan. And served as Worshipful Master in 2017. He has a heart for freemasonry and even a bigger heart for those in need. Sadly he passed away suddenly on Friday December 4, 2020. Funeral Rites were given by our lodge. He is buried in Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Ohio

Situated at 724 High St on the main Hamilton Ohio corridor, The Hamilton Masonic Temple is home to the oldest Masonic lodge in Butler County. Founded in 1811 and fully chartered in 1812, the history of Washington Lodge traces its heritage to the very founding of Hamilton and Butler County.
