Worshipful brother jesse corwin

Worshipful Brother Jesse Corwin, Pioneer, Lawyer, Former Butler County Clerk, Corporation Trustee, Postmaster, Former Legislature of Ohio. And The 12th Worshipful Master of Washington Lodge #17. WB Corwin was Born on January 30th 1797, came to Fort Hamilton in 1822, He was one of Hamilton Ohio's first pioneers and Brother to Thomas Corwin, former Governor of Ohio. He had a long and successful career in Hamilton. He served his lodge in the capacity of Worshipful Master several times 1828-1830 then again in 1835. He died in 1867 He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery

Situated at 724 High St on the main Hamilton Ohio corridor, The Hamilton Masonic Temple is home to the oldest Masonic lodge in Butler County. Founded in 1811 and fully chartered in 1812, the history of Washington Lodge traces its heritage to the very founding of Hamilton and Butler County.
