Worshipful Brother Frederick B. Edmands

​Worshipful Brother Frederick B. Edmands, Clerk & President of Cincinnati Stockyards and the 64th Worshipful Master of Washington Lodge #17. He was born in Salem, Indiana on June 8th 1877 and resided most of his life in College Hill. He served his lodge as Master in 1904, he died in Cincinnati on June 4th 1947 after complications from surgery. He & his Lady Mary are buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio his headstone bares the Square & Compasses!

Situated at 724 High St on the main Hamilton Ohio corridor, The Hamilton Masonic Temple is home to the oldest Masonic lodge in Butler County. Founded in 1811 and fully chartered in 1812, the history of Washington Lodge traces its heritage to the very founding of Hamilton and Butler County.
