Worshipful Brother David Pierce, Prominent Attorney, Member of the first Board of Elections and the 55th Master of Washington Lodge #17. He was born in Camden, Ohio Oct 18th, 1857 Died July 20th, 1947. Attorney Died at Hamilton David Pierce, 89-year-old Hamilton attorney and former Camden resident, died last Wednesday night at his home. Pierce, Hamilton's second oldest attorney, died following a cerebral hemorrhage.
The elderly attorney was born in Camden, the son of Francis and Nancy Pierce. He went to Hamilton in early life where he took an active interest in politics. He was a member of the first Butler County Board of Elections and served three years as a Democratic Central Committeeman. He practiced law for more than 60 years.
Three nieces and a nephew survive. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Masonic Temple in Hamilton with burial in Greenwood Cemetery
