Picture
Daniel Millikin, Brigadier General, Pioneer, Doctor, Abolitionist. And the 16th Worshipful Master of Washington #17. Worshipful Brother Daniel Millikin was born in 1779 in Washington County PA. WB Millikin is probably on of our most famous master masons of Washington lodge. And the name Millikin is prominent in the archives and history of Butler County. I urge you to research is name. There are thousands of documents and photos online about our brother. Many parts of Hamilton and Butler County carry his namesake.  He moved to Hamilton in 1802 and practiced as a physician for many years. He died in 1849 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
